In the last game our brave adventurers were tasked with abducting a prominent member of the Zhentarim. They managed to apprehend him during the performance at the inn and interrogated him. They found out that the Zhentarim and the Xanathars guild had been working together to find a treasure under the city of Waterdeep. They then found a treasure map which might lead them answers about what was happening in the ongoing gang war in Waterdeep – how to possibly put a stop to it – and maybe in the going just get some treasure for themselves. They also learned that some mysterious figure named Jarlaxle Baenre was involved and their lives might be in peril for these unknown forces.
